Updated: Feb 27, 2019

Here is a time where you can imagine, strolling in Alaska Pacific fruit farm, holding a raspberry wheat or berry blonde beer. You may think it is too dainty and affected, and frankly, not worth purchasing. But when you start with a great beer, if done right, fruit in beer can be refreshing and flavorful, and a perfect sipper during the coming summer.

Many drinkers hear the term “fruit beer”and assume the brew is kind of saccharine, in some cases yes, entering to taste fatigue after a sip or two. BUT, please do not forget two things, fruit beer can be as subtle, layered, and structured as fine wine, and its high nutrition, comforting both of your taste buds and stomach.

Fruit beer basically is made with fruit added as an adjunct or flavoring. For Belgian beer-making, Lambics, known as his “new”legend, originating in the valley of the Zenne (in an around Brussels) is their synonym, although copied by brewers in other parts of the world, like America, usually go through a multiple stage fermentation process. It has fruit syrup or fruit lemonade added after fermentation. Not only that, they have tried with technological revolutions, reliability and normal product affairs since the ancient world traders.

When fruit beer journeyed across though Atlantic Ocean landing to the new continent, although the Belgians have long used fruit in making beers, according to writer Jeff Alworth in The beer bible, “in the polite world of professional American brewing” it was considered a vulgarity to mention adding fruit, vegetables or other ingredients – or adjuncts as they’re known – too beer. That is why fruit beer is certainly becoming more popular, especially the sweetened variants, are considered a perfect beer not only for women because of the lack of the bitter hop taste or sourness, also sell a ton of fruit beers and fruited sours to men. In this case, many of you may ask, what’s the science behind my Pint in modern time? When it comes to wellness, knowledge is power, after all. Now your fitness is on the road.

One of the widely available fruit-forward beer, the sweeter and tangy orange character intertwines with the hops very nicely. This beer is jammed with Citra, citrusy Mandarina Bavaria, tropical Azzaca, and fruity Galaxy hops. On top of all this, they add tangerine-infused orange peel.

Another popular fruit beer brand has recently landed on shores and it is particularly good at blending interesting natural flavors. Pogo is a 4.1 per cent, easy drinking pale ale for a sunny day, with heaps of passionfruit, orange and guava flavor and with a good rounding bitterness.

So, fruit beer is definitely a beneficial option for serious beer drinkers ,loyal fans who pursue taste and healthy drinks!

Spring is coming, summer is not far away! BUT we won’t wait until summer to have pints.
